I WANT TO FEATURE MY HOMIE MAKMAN, HE IS UP AND COMING OUT OF THE DMV
CHECK OUT HIS BIO:
MAKMAN, who receives his name from his initials, is originally from Savannah, GA (912),
but currently develops and grows his passion for music in the D.C. Maryland Virginia (DMV) area. A southern
conscious artist, he prefers the title of messenger over rapper. He states that every song has an individual message within
it. Believing that hip hop isn't dead, he regrets that hip hop isn't intimate with the listener anymore. He states
that not everyone can or wants to relate to a thuggish or gimmick style of music, but every listener wants to still feel
a connection with the song. His style is unique. He brings songs that will make you celebrate, dance, ponder and often
times just smile from hearing it. While growing up, his major influences were and still are Outkast, Goodie Mob, Big
Rube, UGK, Jay Z, Wu Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Mystikal, Ice Cube, Mos Def and a host of R&B artists. With a direct
approach to his delivery, he maintains tailoring each song based on the song's purpose.
